Engagement Session with David and Birette in Downtown Annapolis
First I have to say thank you to Erin over at Soul Mate Weddings and Events for sending David and Birette our way! We have worked with Erin on two prior occasions and we are always amazed at the magic she creates for her couples. You can get to know more about the services she provides by visiting http://www.soulmateweddingsandevents.com/.
This year we have had quite a few of our couples request having their engagement photography session in historic downtown Annapolis Maryland. You have easy access to the Naval Academy, the Cheasapeake Bay and the beautiful historic homes that line the surrounding streets.
Our first communication with David and Birette was via email and that email contained the story of how they met and why they have decided to spend the rest of their lives together. They originally saw each other at a car wash and as Birette described it David was cleaning a spot on his car for what appeared to be 10 minutes while sneaking glances at her. Birette smiled at David and proceeded to get into her car and drive away.
The second time they met Birette was coming home from a party when she pulled up to her home and a vehicle was getting ready to park in the spot she normally parked at. For some reason the other person noticed her car and gave up the spot to her. As she walked up to her house she heard this stranger say hello and he quickly introduced himself as David. She thanked him for the parking spot and went inside.
A few weeks later a co worker asked her to come to a party and while there she sees David walking through the door. It just so happened that the host of the party was David’s best friend. After finally being able to spend a little time together at the party the rest was history. Marcus and I are looking forward to photographing their wedding at the Eubie Blake National Jazz Institute this fall.
