Clarence & Hilda’s Wedding at Rockhill Plantation

I clearly remember their engagement session from earlier this year because it is one week after New Years Eve and Clarence was leaving for Japan the following day. On the day of the engagement session we were lucky to have unseasonably warm weather and we had fun walking around Georgetown taking photographs.

Nine months later we lucked out again because the sun was shining and the birds were tweeting and the weather was absolutely perfect :-). The wedding was held at the scenic Rockhill Plantation house in Stafford Virginia. It was a pleasure for Marcus and I to spend time with this couple over the last few months and we are happy that they chose us to photograph their special day.

  1. WOW! What a beautiful wedding place… Wonderful photographs you did again but especially there are two of them fascinated me so much πŸ™‚ Maybe you can guess too! First one is the horse-carriage, coming from the forest in the valley… so beautiful, so beautiful…. And second one youngest couple who are dancing, so lovely they are. Thank you dear M&D, you are doing great job. Love, nia

  2. Wonderful and beautiful all around. Some scenery for a wedding. The one where the carriage is coming out between the trees is just stunning and filled with lovely atmosphere.

    • Thanks Harry.. Marcus and I try and focus on the details during each wedding. Marcus took the photograph of the dog. I remember smiling when we were proofing the images :-). Thanks for taking a peek at our work. I shared your link with Marcus and another photography buddy of ours. She is also a wedding photographer and she loved your work. We all would not mind if you posted just a little more frequently πŸ™‚ :-).
